A New Beginning

You and I Are Alike

You and I, and everyone else on Earth, have three basic needs: to be loved, to be needed, and to be accepted.

What if I told you those needs could be satisfied—not earned, but freely given?

My Story

In my mid-20s, while practicing martial arts, I began exploring Eastern religions and met my biological father for the first time. I am sure you can imagine all the different emotions a that would be bubbling at that time in my life.

My boss, seeing what I was going through, told me God could help if I’d let Him, then shared with me how I could start relationship with God by putting my trust in Jesus. Then he asked me if I wanted to accept Jesus.

I said no at the time, but a few months later, I realized those other paths weren’t giving me what I needed. I thought, “I can’t say Christianity isn’t for me if I’ve never really tried it.” So I followed my boss’s advice, admitted I was a sinner, and put my trust in what Jesus did on the cross.

No dramatic moment—just a real change of heart. Since then, I’ve been walking with the Lord, and I can confidently say God has been with me through every hardship and will one day bring me home to be with Him forever.

What About You?

Are you ready for a new beginning? The Bible says:

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

What might be stopping you? Fear? Doubt? Peer pressure? Maybe you avoid eternal thoughts, or think God is too busy.

Here’s the truth: God loves you. And if we confess our sins to Jesus, He forgives them all—no matter what.

The ABCs of Salvation

  • A – Admit: I’ve sinned. I’ve fallen short. God can’t allow sin into heaven.
  • B – Believe: Jesus died for my sins and rose again. He’s the real deal.
  • C – Confess: Ask for forgiveness and declare Jesus as Lord of your life.

Pray This From Your Heart

“Dear Jesus,
I admit I have done wrong, and that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin.
I believe You died in my place and rose again.
I confess my sins to You and ask for forgiveness.
Be the boss and Lord of my heart. Help me live for You.
Thank You for Your great love and forgiveness.
In Jesus’ name… Amen.”

Congratulations!

If you prayed that prayer and meant it, welcome to a new beginning! Your sins are forgiven. You are made new in Christ!
